Other World Computing (OWC) has announced the launch of StudioStack, a data storage dock featuring a Thunderbolt 5 interface. This breakthrough can be integrated with Apple’s Mac Studio and older Mac mini models.
Photos of OWC StudioStack reveal dimensions of 197 mm on its widest edge and 37 mm in height. It is equipped with a single M.2 M-Key 2280 SSD slot capable of holding up to 8 TB. An additional slot for a 3.5-inch SATA drive, connected via an internal USB port, can provide an extra 24 TB of storage space.
Furthermore, StudioStack incorporates three Thunderbolt 5 ports and three 10 Gbps USB-A ports for peripheral connectivity. The main Thunderbolt 5 port supports up to 60W charging.
