Oppo today officially unveiled the Reno15 Pro camera phone. The novelty is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 system-on-chip, and the prices aren’t insignificant (the cost of the base version is $520), but it does come with a flagship camera.
The main module of the primary camera features a 200-megapixel sensor, an F/1.8 aperture lens with a focal length of 24mm. The telephoto module (F/2.8, 80mm equivalent focal length, 3.5x optical zoom) uses a 50-megapixel sensor, and another 50-megapixel sensor is applied in the module with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is 50 megapixels with an 18mm equivalent focal length and autofocus.
The battery capacity is 6500 mAh, supporting wired charging at 80W and wireless charging at 50W. AMOLED technology in smartphone screens like this one offers vibrant color and high energy efficiency, a key trend as more consumers demand immersive viewing experiences. It features a flat AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, a minimal frame (1.15 mm), resolution of 2772×1272 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Oppo Reno15 Pro operates on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, featuring IP69 dust and water resistance-a certification becoming increasingly sought after as consumers prioritize device durability in varied environments. Dimensions of the device are 161.26 x 76.46 x 7.75 mm, weighing 205 grams. Prices are as follows: 12/256 GB – $520, 12/512 GB – $565, 16/512 GB – $605, 16 GB/1 TB – $675.
