Digital Chat Station refers to a single-cell battery with a 4.51V voltage, a nominal capacity of 32.59Wh, and a typical capacity of 8900mAh. However, the insider noted that manufacturers will indicate 9000mAh. Image Grok

Additionally, the companies are testing smartphones with flat screens based on the top Snapdragon 8 platform with such batteries. Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the characteristics of Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, as well as that Realme GT 7 Pro will feature a bright Samsung display, and that the Dimensity 9400 SoC will release earlier than the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Previously, the insider stated that most smartphone batteries in 2026 will reach a capacity of 10,000mAh.

Recent advancements in smartphone battery technology include new lithium-ion and solid-state batteries, promising increased performance and longevity. As we look forward, the smartphone industry anticipates the integration of these technologies to meet the growing demands of consumers seeking longer battery life and faster recharge times.
