The Ooni Volt 2 is designed to accommodate pizzas of up to 13 inches in diameter, compact enough for countertop placement in the average home kitchen. This aligns with Ooni’s focus on efficiency and precision, offering three preset settings for different pizza styles-Neapolitan, New York, and deep-pan-while also allowing users to customize their cooking presets to suit unique preferences.
Ooni’s foray into AI-driven cooking aligns it competitively with other smart oven technologies available on the market. However, its precise focus on pizza, assisted by AI, distinguishes it from broader smart ovens like the Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo, known for its traditional and versatile baking features.
Set to debut at a price of £499 (approximately $670 USD), the Volt 2 will be accessible from October 1st. U.S. pricing is anticipated to be announced soon, and the company is likely to leverage its robust online platform to reach global consumers.
