OneXPlayer Aims to Revolutionize Tablets with Super X and Extraordinary Specs

OneXPlayer has launched on Kickstarter with its tablet, called Super X. This is effectively a PC, sometimes referred to as a hybrid laptop because it houses a full-fledged CPU and Windows. However, if considered as a tablet, this is the most powerful Windows tablet in the world. Photo of OneXPlayer on Kickstarter.

At the heart of the new product is the Ryzen AI Max+ 395. This means it boasts not only 16 processor cores but also a powerful Radeon 8060S iGPU at the level of RTX 4060. Furthermore, it is the only tablet in the world with an external liquid cooling system, which can sometimes be found in top gaming laptops. Thanks to this cooling system, the processor’s power limit can be increased to 120W. Photo of OneXPlayer on Kickstarter.

The Kickstarter campaign has not yet launched, so many details are still unknown. However, we know that the tablet is equipped with a 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a battery capacity of 83.5 Wh. Additionally, it is one of the first devices supporting Mini SSD drives, which have just gone on sale today. According to the company, the starting price on Kickstarter will be $1900, but this includes the Ryzen AI Max 385, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. For the top APU, an additional $100 will be required. However, these are prices for the version without liquid cooling. With such a system, prices start at $1960.

Industry experts note that while Mini SSD technology brings significant storage and speed advantages, the hybrid laptop and tablet market remains fiercely competitive, particularly against established brands. The focus on AI processing and gaming capabilities sets the Super X apart, especially as the demand for high-performance portable devices is expected to rise sharply.

Enthusiasts from previous OneXPlayer models have highly praised the brand for its innovation and commitment to performance. Consumers have particularly appreciated the seamless integration of high-end hardware in portable forms, predicting that the Super X will follow in delivering on this reputation.
