It is confirmed to have a high refresh rate display of up to 165 Hz. In terms of benchmark results, the OnePlus Turbo scored a total of 2,609,327 points in AnTuTu. This score comprises various test results, including high performance scores for CPU, GPU, memory, and user experience. The smartphone received 846,597 points for graphics, 347,105 for memory, and 568,035 for user experience tests.
The display is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED panel from BOE with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Reports indicate that the phone will be available in multiple configurations, from 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage to a top version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. In China, it is expected to come in colors such as Unique Black, Ocean Green, and Light Chaser Silver. The device will be equipped with a 9000 mAh battery supporting fast charging, a metal body, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen. Previously, the smartphone appeared on GeekBench, scoring 2124 points in the single-core test and 6880 points in the multi-core test.
As for its pricing in China, considering the most current exchange rates, a potential Chinese pricing around 6,000 CNY might translate to approximately $942 USD. Industry insiders expect a competitive entry into the market, challenging rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Xiaomi Mi Mix series. Experts cite the advanced processor and battery life as potential strong points, while the pricing strategy may play a crucial role in its reception.
