The OnePlus Nord 5, Nord 4, and Nord CE 5, for instance, have recently started receiving the stable OxygenOS 16 update. These smartphones were supposed to get the update only by December, yet the rollout is already underway.
According to the OxygenOS 16 rollout schedule, November is reserved for high-end smartphones and tablets. However, early updates for some mid-range smartphones indicate that they won’t linger in the queue for long.
OnePlus has recently committed to accelerating software updates for its mid-range devices, a strategic move aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and competitive positioning. Users have expressed pleasant surprise at the early update arrival, suggesting a positive reception in the community.
