OnePlus has confirmed the release date for the OnePlus 15R smartphone. At the same event scheduled for December 17, OnePlus will also unveil the Pad Go 2 tablet and the Watch Lite smartwatch. The OnePlus 15R will debut as the budget model in the OnePlus 15 series. It is expected to be based on the OnePlus Ace 6T, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 system-on-chip, anticipated to launch at the end of this month.
The OnePlus 15R is anticipated to feature a flat frame and a camera module positioned at a 45-degree angle in the upper left corner. It will receive protection classes of IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. It’s also confirmed that the phone will be available in “charcoal black” and “mint breeze” colors.

The phone might come with a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, an optical fingerprint scanner, and an 8000 mAh battery. Configurations may include 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. The camera will likely include a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide module. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera may be provided.
