OnePlus 15T Set to Stir Competition with Cutting-Edge Display and Battery in 2026

The launch of the OnePlus 15T in China is anticipated in April, as reported by Digital Chat Station. This aligns with OnePlus’s traditional schedule for its series of compact flagship smartphones. In China, this device will face competition from other upcoming compact phones such as the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air, Vivo X300s, and Oppo Find X9s.

It is expected that the OnePlus 15T will feature a 6.3-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Reports suggest that the screen will support a 165 Hz refresh rate, representing an advancement from the 120 Hz used in the previous generation.

The phone is also expected to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display and a metal frame. The integration of these features signifies the industry’s move towards more secure and refined biometric authentication methods.

It is reported to be equipped with a battery of approximately 7500 mAh. Earlier reports suggested that the device would not support wireless charging. Such a large battery could support longer usage times, a critical factor for consumers who heavily use their smartphones daily.

Concerning the cameras, the smartphone is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 module. This aligns with recent trends in smartphone photography technology, providing better clarity and performance in various lighting conditions.

Previously, Digital Chat Station accurately reported the specifications of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, as well as details about the Realme GT 7 Pro featuring a bright Samsung display and the SoC Dimensity 9400 being released before the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

In the coming months, the industry might see more focus on the integration of AI-powered features and sustainability in design, as seen with competitors like Samsung and Huawei venturing into eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient processors.
