The Dongfeng Nissan company has reported the initial market success of the new Nissan Teana sedan. Just a month after sales began, the model, which became the world’s first gasoline car with the HarmonyOS infotainment system, received 10,432 orders.
The official premiere of the novelty took place on November 21 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. At the same time, a special starting price was announced – from 129,900 CNY ($20,790). Key feature of the car is the full integration of the Huawei ecosystem: all configurations are equipped by default with the HarmonyOS Cockpit 5 system.
The interior is equipped with a media system featuring a large 15.6-inch screen. Additionally, it boasts a Huawei Sound audio system with 17 speakers, 256-color ambient lighting, and a 50-watt wireless smartphone charger.
Technically, the car remains true to its traditions: under the hood, it has a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine delivering 243 hp, paired with a CVT. The sedan’s dimensions are 4920×1850×1447 mm with a wheelbase of 2825 mm.
