In addition to the MEG X monitor with multiple AI features, MSI also introduced the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 model. This is its first monitor based on the fifth-generation Tandem OLED panel. Moreover, it’s a Samsung V-Stripe panel with linear subpixel arrangement, enhancing text clarity.
The ultra-wide monitor features a 34-inch diagonal with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 360 Hz. So far, Samsung has introduced only such V-Stripe panels, so all corresponding monitors will be identical in terms of main specifications.
There is also a DarkArmor Film to enhance black depth in bright external lighting. MSI mentions a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m² and DisplayHDR True Black 500 and ClearMR 18000 certifications. The OLED Care 3.0 technology with an AI Care sensor protects the panel from burn-in. Notably, it comes with a three-year warranty. According to preliminary reviews, such a monitor will cost around $1100.
