Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2027: The Blend of Tradition and Electric Innovation

Mercedes-Benz has initiated tests for the future E-Class, set to debut in 2027, which will completely replace the current EQE. The company is moving away from separate indexes, uniting electric and traditional versions under one name. It seems that the unique styling of the EQ line hindered sales, prompting the new electric sedan to feature a classic silhouette with proportions close to the Vision Iconic concept. This model is built on the MB.EA platform, promising a range of around 500 miles and a more spacious interior. Mercedes places particular emphasis on silence and comfort, stating that the newcomer will be the segment’s benchmark. An increased wheelbase will provide more room for rear passengers, while the body will maintain the traditional look of the E-Class, only with an all-electric makeup.

Technical features include versions with one or two motors, rear or all-wheel drive.

The technical part foresees versions with one or two motors, featuring rear or all-wheel drive. An 800V architecture will ensure fast charging with up to 350 kW and allow the use of the most advanced assistants, including an optional third-level autonomous driving.
