Meizu’s AI Cube Makes a Smarter Move: Welcome to the Future of Emotional Tech

At the Meizu Fans Spring Festival 2026, the official presentation of the “AI Little Cube” Meizu 22 Next took place. Although it’s not literally a cube, this compact AI device introduces a new category – not just a smartphone, nor merely a smart speaker, but a personal intelligent assistant in a small form factor featuring a 4-inch screen and a rear camera.

Meizu 22 Next boasts over 100 interfaces with emotions, mimicking real feelings while learning through interactions with the user. Operating an AI memory of emotions, the device recalls the user’s personality, mood, and health status, subsequently offering recommendations and reminders as emotional support. It’s also adept at managing multiple devices, including smartphones, smart homes, IoT devices, and cars. Enhanced by accessories, the “AI Cube” can be carried along, used on a special stand at a desk, or in a car, where it transforms into a portable robot.

The AI technological landscape is rapidly evolving, and Meizu 22 Next capitalizes on this trend by integrating emotional learning capabilities. Such advancements are expected to redefine user interactions by significantly enhancing personalized experiences. Competing personal AI assistants are also exploring similar emotion recognition features, making this a burgeoning arena in 2026.
