The authors note the growth in Apple SoC shipments thanks to the iPhone 17 lineup. For MediaTek, the Dimensity 6300 stands out, heavily contributing to the spread of 5G in the sub-$150 segment.

In recent developments, MediaTek’s release of the Dimensity 6300 has led to significant enhancements in 5G connectivity at affordable price points. Experts emphasize its role in providing robust performance previously unseen at such low costs. Industry collaborations have further boosted its reach, as MediaTek partners with manufacturers aiming to dominate this competitive price-sensitive segment. Additionally, competitive analysis shows the Dimensity 6300 providing strong competition to Qualcomm’s offerings in similar categories, maintaining MediaTek’s edge in technological advancements.
