The Chinese brand Machenike has introduced the new Mini GTS mini-PC, which stands out with an unusual engineering solution: a rotating screen is located on the top panel of the device. The built-in display shows real-time system parameters (load, temperature, clock speed, and power consumption) and is part of the cooling system. Raising the screen opens additional ducts for heat dissipation. The thermal management is handled by a powerful cooling system featuring two heat pipes and four fans.
This innovation is powered by Intel processors: the base version comes with the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H (14 cores, 14 threads, clocking up to 4.9 GHz), while the flagship version is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H (16 cores, up to 5.4 GHz). The Machenike Mini GTS supports two SO-DIMM slots for up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and two M.2 slots for SSDs (maximum of 4 TB). It’s equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 modules. The port selection includes two USB4 connectors, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, two 2.5GbE LAN ports, and numerous USB Type-A ports. Impressively, the device can output to four independent 4K monitors.
The configuration with the Ultra 5 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage costs around $820 in China. The top-tier Core Ultra 9 variant is considerably more expensive, with the price reaching as much as $1800.
