Luxury Graphics Card Hiccups: Asus ROG Matrix RTX 5090 Faces Early Woes

Very expensive and rare graphics card Asus ROG Matrix RTX 5090 at least one user apparently has a factory defect. A buyer complained that they simply cannot properly connect the power connector. A Reddit user posted photos showing that the connector is located in a recess of the cooler frame, and specifically in this case, is located shifted to one of the edges of the frame. Because of this, the owner simply cannot properly connect the 16-pin power connector, and this connector is very demanding for correct connection.

It should be noted that some time ago, information appeared about the temporary suspension of deliveries of this video card due to some defect, but then Asus officially denied this, stating that the delay was due to logistics reasons. Whether this defect is related to those rumors is unclear, but the author noted that Asus has already contacted him and is working on a solution to the problem.

Remember that the ROG Matrix RTX 5090 was released in a print run of only 1000 units, and all have long been sold out, although shipments for those who already placed orders continue. The card, meanwhile, costs $4000.
