Logitech is finally gearing up to launch its Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse, first introduced back in September. The company announced that it will start accepting pre-orders on January 19. As for the sales launch, unofficial data suggests it is set for February 24.
This mouse is equipped with inductive analog Lightspeed switches and a tactile feedback system. It’s the first such mouse on the market. According to Logitech itself, this innovation ensures the fastest and most customizable clicks, enhancing speed and accuracy in first-person shooters and multiplayer online games in the MOBA genre. In simpler terms, this mouse allows for faster clicking.
Apart from that, it’s a symmetrical mouse with a Hero 2 sensor boasting a resolution of 44,000 DPI, a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz, and offers up to 90 hours of battery life, all while weighing just 60g. The mouse is priced at $180.
As the gaming world continues to evolve, Logitech’s introduction of inductive analog switches with tactile feedback is creating a buzz. This feature is lauded for potentially changing the way gamers interact with their hardware, setting a new standard that competitors might rush to match. Despite its high price, experts believe the Pro X2 Superstrike will appeal to serious gamers who demand precision and speed. The anticipation around this product underscores Logitech’s strategic edge in the gaming peripheral market.
