LG has unveiled its 136-inch Magnit Active Micro LED television in the United States. This model, initially showcased in South Korea, targets those aiming to create a full-fledged personal cinema hall at home.
Magnit is not your typical television. Its design consists of four bezel-free 68-inch modules that form a single 4K screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Each module includes Micro LED panels with pixel sizes of 0.78 mm and an individual resolution of 480 x 540 pixels. When assembled, the system weighs approximately 175 kg.

In terms of specifications, Magnit reaches the level of professional panels. The peak brightness hits 1700 nits, with an average of 300 nits, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It supports HDR10 and HDR10 Pro, with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz and variable synchronization. There’s support for AirPlay 2, Miracast, as well as HDMI ports.

LG has integrated a 100-watt audio system into the model. Power consumption in normal mode is about 650 watts, rising to 1800 watts at maximum capacity. In standby mode, the screen can display photos and paintings.
