Lenovo is preparing to announce laptops with outstanding repairability. According to Windows Latest, these will include two models: ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 and X1 2-in-1 Gen 11. Both have already scored 9 out of 10 in repairability from iFixit. iFixit itself hasn’t published anything yet, but this is likely because Lenovo hasn’t officially announced anything either. A score of 9 at iFixit is a very high result. It seems that replacing the battery will be very simple, and many components will be removable and/or modular.
The new models are expected to feature the latest Core Ultra 300 processors, including Core Ultra X models with a powerful 12-core iGPU. Additionally, the laptops will come with a quality 10-megapixel camera with a wide viewing angle, and the X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 model will also support a stylus.
