Lenovo has released the Lecoo Cool 310 mini-PC, which can be purchased in a fully configured state for just $240. The base version is equipped with the now-older Ryzen 5 3500U processor. Although this chip is considered quite weak by today’s standards, it still features six cores and an integrated GPU that allows for running less demanding games.
When the Ryzen 5 3500U was launched in 2019, it was known for its solid multi-core performance, decent efficiency, and Vega integrated graphics. It was widely seen as a balanced option for laptops and mini-PCs, striking a good compromise between performance and power usage at the time.
In a configuration with 8/512 GB of memory, the new product is suitable for non-demanding tasks. However, the main version relies on a modern 14-core Core Ultra 5 135H processor and comes with 16/512 GB of memory. This variant is priced at $390, which is still considered reasonable given the current memory market situation.
Yesterday, we mentioned a similar PC priced at $355, but with a slightly older Core i5-14450HX. The new Lenovo model is housed in a 6.8-liter case, is delivered with Windows 11 Home, and does not stand out with any particularly interesting features.
As of late 2025, the memory market is experiencing a robust phase, characterized by steady prices after previous fluctuations, making it an economical time to upgrade or purchase new equipment.
For more intensive applications, the Core Ultra 5 135H, part of Intel’s latest lineup, offers enhanced performance with improved energy efficiency. Its multi-threading capabilities are ideal for multitasking, albeit heavy gaming may still challenge its limits without a dedicated GPU. Combined, these elements make the Lenovo Lecoo Cool 310 a cost-effective choice for casual computing and light work.
