Besides the Core Ultra 3 processors from the Panther Lake line, Intel also introduced the Core 3 from the Wildcat Lake line. It was previously assumed that this was a new “atomic” line, but it is still unclear if this is the case. It is known that these are embedded processors that rely on their own die, although the architectures here are the same as those in the older Panther Lake models.
This die contains only two large cores and four LP cores, which is a 2+0+4 configuration. It is worth noting that among the Panther Lake models, there are also two models (Core Ultra 5 332/322) with the same configuration, but the die there is different: larger with trimmed cores.
The Core 3 configuration also includes an iGPU with two Xe3 cores, an NPU 5 block, and the controller supports six PCIe 4.0 lanes, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0.
