Intel’s Arc B390 iGPU: A Glimpse Into the Future of Portable Performance

The Arc B390 integrated graphics core, scheduled to be a part of the top-tier mobile processors in the Intel Core Ultra 300 series, has appeared in 3DMark where it demonstrated impressive results. This information was shared by the insider OneRaichu. Photo by Videocardz.

In the Time Spy test, the new entry scores around 7,000 points and about 6,000 points in Steel Nomad Light. In both cases, it significantly surpasses the Arc 140T and Radeon 890M results, making the new iGPU the most powerful in its class. Only the cores in the high-performance Ryzen AI Max would be better, but that’s an entirely different class of CPU. Incidentally, the Radeon 8050S in the Ryzen AI Max outperforms the new Intel offering by approximately 30%. This is a significant difference, but considering the class gap, Intel’s solution looks very respectable. Photo by Videocardz Photo by Videocardz.

It should be noted that, according to leaks, Intel is currently working on a special processor in this line for portable gaming consoles. With such power, these consoles will surpass the current generation by a significant margin, and according to Intel’s promises, this comes without increasing power consumption. Insider OneRaichu had previously been the first to reveal details about Alder Lake processors and the performance of the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card before their official announcements.

Additionally, recent updates suggest that the Arc B390 continues to push the envelope with improvements in efficiency and performance balance, further cementing its position as an attractive option for future gaming and creative tasks.
