Intel Core Ultra 300 Leak: First Look at Panther Lake Innovates Without Much Noise

The Intel Core Ultra 300 processors of the Panther Lake lineup are set to be unveiled on January 5. However, today we have an early look at this chip with leaked images and CPU-Z screenshots. This particular model might be a unique processor since its configuration doesn’t match previous models we’ve seen. It features only two large cores, four small cores, and four low-power cores, along with an iGPU carrying four Xe3 cores. The available information suggests that the new series will come in three configurations: 2+0+4, 4+0+4, and 4+8+4. The test sample here seems to be based on the high-end chip, but some cores are disabled.

In CPU-Z, it scored 532 and 3516 points. For comparison, the Core Ultra 5 225H scores 738 and 8050 points, but these numbers are not directly comparable due to the limited configuration and prototype status of this sample.

Recent updates about Panther Lake indicate a focus on efficiency improvements and advanced integrated graphics capabilities to rival AMD’s growing precision in this sector. Industry experts are anticipating a significant leap in AI-powered tasks due to these enhanced cores.
