Inside the Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra: A Surprisingly Repair-Friendly Flagship

Authors from the PBKreviews channel have taken apart the brand-new flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra, to assess its repairability and to explore its internal design. The repairability was rated at 7 out of 10, which is quite commendable. Xiaomi’s latest model didn’t fail in any of the categories evaluated by the channel.

Speaking of the internal structure, the most noteworthy aspect is the speaker on the back panel. As can be seen, the speaker isn’t located on the main board but rather on a unit placed between the cover and the board. This area also houses the wireless charging coil.

Recently enhanced wireless charging technology in the Poco F8 Ultra enables faster and more efficient power transfer. Moreover, the device comes with a substantial battery setup split into two sections, which might be contributing to greater efficiency and charging speed.

The camera block is notably large due to the periscope module. Such a module often enhances photographic capabilities, allowing for clearer and more detailed zoom shots. In comparison to its predecessors, the Poco F8 Ultra offers a refined photography experience.
