Innovation Expands: Honor Unveils Magic 8 Series with A Luxurious Twist

According to the Chinese insider Fixed Focus Digital, Honor is preparing a significant expansion of its flagship lineup. The existing models, Magic 8 Lite, Magic 8, and Magic 8 Pro, will soon be joined by three new models: the compact Magic 8S, the ultra-thin Magic 8 Air, and the premium Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design. Innovation Expands Honor

The Magic 8S is rumored to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, a flat 6.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will boast a metal frame and is set to launch in four colors: white, black, orange, and purple. This device aims to deliver both performance and flair in a compact package.

A surprising development is the Honor Magic 8 Air, with a thickness ranging between 5-6 mm. This model is expected to include a 5500 mAh battery, a 200-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens, and a 6.31-inch display. Insider notes suggest that its design will be “even more Apple-like” than the Honor 500 series.

The third newcomer, the Magic 8 RSR, remains a “luxury” variant of the Pro version. Its collaboration with Porsche Design promises an exclusive aesthetic and high-end features, emphasizing a blend of technology and elegance. The official announcement for the Magic 8 Air and Magic 8 RSR is anticipated in the second half of January.
