Hyundai Staria: New Style, Better Features, Same Price

Hyundai has introduced its updated Staria minivan in South Korea, targeting the modern family transport segment with a fresh appeal. The facelift focuses primarily on the interior and equipment enhancements, ensuring that this vehicle stands out in a competitive market.

Orders are now open for the latest Staria, with the base cargo-passenger version, Cargo, priced at 32.59 million won ($22,000). This competitive pricing makes it accessible yet sophisticated, appealing to a broad audience looking for reliability combined with modern features.

Visually, the refreshed Staria can be identified by its upgraded lighting fixtures and the redesigned front grille, giving it a bolder road presence. These changes are complemented by significant interior upgrades, resulting in a more intuitive user experience.

The dashboard redesign introduces a myriad of physical buttons, contrasting the previous touch-centric approach, which some drivers found cumbersome. A reimagined transmission selector and a shift to steering column-mounted gear control in the Lounge variant enhances driving ergonomics.

The standard media system now boasts a 12.3-inch screen, an upgrade from the former 10.4-inch display, transforming multimedia interactions with clearer and more expansive visuals.

The interior upgrades focus on user-friendly controls.

Hyundai’s engineers have also recalibrated the suspension system, integrating advanced shock absorbers for a smoother ride. Other enhancements include reinforced subframe attachments and upgraded sound insulation both in the engine bay and the rear of the vehicle, contributing to a quieter cabin.

The Staria’s engine lineup features a hybrid system with a 180 horsepower output from a 1.6-liter engine, alongside a 3.5-liter dual-fuel engine delivering 240 horsepower. These options cater to a range of driving preferences, promoting both fuel efficiency and high performance.

Globally, Hyundai continues to lead in innovation and market adaptability, enhancing its brand appeal not just through design, but through strategic engineering and consumer-conscious tech updates, solidifying its position as a major player in the automotive industry.
