The company Huawei has added a new accessory to its lineup of HarmonyOS devices in China. Huawei introduced the HarmonyOS Smart Home Bluetooth Gateway Lite, a compact plug-in hub designed to connect and manage Bluetooth-based smart devices. Available as of now in Huawei Mall, it is priced at 129 yuan ($18 USD). The gateway plugs directly into an outlet and requires no additional cables. Regarding connectivity options, the device supports Bluetooth, Bluetooth Mesh, as well as 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. Huawei claims it can simultaneously manage up to six standard Bluetooth devices or up to 16 devices using Bluetooth Mesh. Supported products include devices like smart lamps, LED strips, curtain motors, spotlights, and temperature sensors.

Designed for close integration with Huawei routers, when paired with compatible models, it can automatically optimize frequency bands to reduce interference and improve the stability of connected devices. Weighing about 65 grams, the gateway operates in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C and can be stored at temperatures as low as -40°C. It also supports humidity levels up to 95% without condensation.
