HP’s Triple Threat: Unveiling the EliteBook X G2 Series with Powerhouse Processors

HP Gears Up for CES 2026 with EliteBook X G2 Series

Company HP is preparing to announce its EliteBook X G2 laptop series at CES 2026, featuring all three major market platforms. The lineup includes three models: EliteBook X G2a, EliteBook X G2i, and EliteBook X G2q. As expected, they will be powered by processors from AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm, respectively.

Although details remain scarce, it is anticipated that the laptops will feature Ryzen AI 400, Core Ultra 300, and Snapdragon X2 processors. The latter is expected to be released later than the others, as laptops with new Qualcomm chips are anticipated only in the second quarter of the current year. Other details have yet to be disclosed, but features like a slim metallic chassis, large touchpad, and silver color can be expected.

What’s New for 2026: Laptops Trends

As CES 2026 approaches, laptop technology trends are gravitating towards enhanced AI capabilities, sustainability features, and the integration of the latest processors. AMD’s Ryzen AI series is tailored for AI-based tasks, while Intel’s Core Ultra series focuses on high performance and battery efficiency. Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 aims at providing robust mobile computing power coupled with 5G integration.
