Honor’s New Smartphone Line ‘Win’ Set to Challenge Rivals with Power and Innovation

Honor has officially announced an entirely new line of smartphones, and yes, it is indeed named the Win series. After several months of rumors, the company finally confirmed the name by releasing the first teaser. On December 16, new smartphones will be presented at an event under the slogan “Exceptional strength, born to win.” It is expected that the Honor Win series will replace the Honor GT line, which, in turn, debuted only in 2024. The next phone, which many expected to see under the name Honor GT 2, is now reportedly going to be released under the name Win.

Rumors suggest that the lineup will feature two devices named Honor Win and Honor Win Pro. The standard Honor Win model is reportedly coming in several colors, including beige, black, white, and blue. Meanwhile, the Honor Win Pro will also get an integrated cooling element near the top camera lens.

The Honor Win may operate on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, while the Win Pro is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is designed for enhanced performance with improved AI capabilities, making it suitable for gaming enthusiasts and tech-savvy users. Both phones are expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a robust 8,500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. They will receive a metal body and advanced water resistance, ensuring durability and reliability.
