Honor officially confirmed the launch of the Win smartphone series, set for December 26. The lineup will include two models – Honor Win and Honor Win RT. The company has already published images of the new products, revealing the design before the presentation and positioning the new series as gaming-oriented.
Both smartphones will be available in at least black, white, and blue colors, with a possible beige option mentioned. The design features a matte back panel resistant to fingerprints, and its appearance noticeably resonates with the Redmi K90 series. Honor Win will be the more advanced version with a triple main camera, while Win RT will have a dual module. Both models feature the Win logo and an active cooling system.

It is expected that Honor Win will be equipped with a 6.83-inch flat LTPS display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. A Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is anticipated, alongside a 50 MP camera, a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and water resistance. Notably, the battery capacity is expected to be at least 8500 mAh, catering to the needs of long gaming sessions without battery worries.
Honor Win RT is likely to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, 100W fast charging, advanced water resistance, and a high-quality camera.
Honor’s strategic focus on gaming capabilities with the Snapdragon platforms aligns with the increasing number of mobile gaming enthusiasts. They might also introduce AI or augmented features to bolster gaming experiences further. As mobile gaming continues its appeal, the Win series could significantly impact the current market, which sees a substantial share of Honor devices in the gaming segment. Collaborative efforts with game developers may enhance the user experience, providing software optimizations tailored specifically for these gaming functions.
