The Honor Magic8 series, unveiled in China on October 15, is finally poised for its global market debut. The international launch is scheduled for November 27 in Malaysia, yet as local sources report, only the Honor Magic8 Pro model will be available for purchase initially. The smartphone is expected in Europe soon.
Pre-orders for the Magic8 Pro will open immediately after the presentation-from November 27 to December 4. Customers ordering during this period will receive an Insta360 Ace Pro action camera as a bonus. The international model differs from the Chinese version with a smaller battery capacity: 7100 mAh instead of 7200 mAh. Maximum wired charging power is 120 W.
Let’s remember that the Honor Magic8 Pro is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 single-chip platform, equipped with a 6.71-inch OLED screen, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6000 nits, as well as a camera with sensors of 200, 50, and 50 MP, maximum zoom – 100x. It also features protection in accordance with the IP69K rating.
Additionally, there are rumors of improved AI camera capabilities and enhanced gaming performances due to more efficient chipset use, which could position the Magic8 Pro favorably among tech-savvy consumers.
Let’s not forget, the release of the Honor 500 Super Pro Edition and Honor 500 Super Standard Edition, along with the Honor Watch X5, is scheduled for November 24. The Honor 500 series promises improved performance metrics and new design elements, making it a notable entry in the competitive mid-range market.
