Honor has officially confirmed its participation in the MWC 2026 exhibition, scheduled from March 2nd to 5th in Barcelona, Spain. The brand will introduce the Honor Robot Phone and the folding smartphone Magic V6, indicating that the V6 will launch much earlier than the Magic V5v, which was officially unveiled in July 2025. According to insider sources referenced by Experience More, the V6 might feature the largest battery ever seen in foldable phones.
Insiders have revealed that Magic V6’s battery has already been certified by China’s 3C authority, and the premium version is expected to sport a dual-cell battery with a capacity exceeding 7000 mAh, typically around 7150 mAh, over 1000 mAh more than its predecessor. Previously, an insider from Digital Chat Station mentioned that Magic V6 will be among the pioneering foldable phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.
On the photography front, it might feature a 200 MP primary camera. Digital Chat Station also claims that the Honor Magic V6 will be lighter and thinner than the previous generation, despite housing a larger battery. By comparison, the Magic V5’s thickness when folded and unfolded measures 9.0 mm and 4.2 mm, respectively, with a weight of approximately 222 grams.
