Honda has unveiled the refreshed version of the 2026 model year Accord sedan for the North American market. The company avoided radical cosmetic changes recently introduced in the Chinese variant of the model: Honda limited itself to targeted improvements and a revision of the equipment. The goal is to enhance the vehicle’s appeal against its main competitor, the Toyota Camry, which is sold twice as well.
The main innovations concerned the base trims LX and SE, equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine (192 hp or approximately 143 kW). Now they are equipped by default with a media system featuring a 9-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 15-watt wireless smartphone charger. The SE version has also received new 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Sport and Sport L hybrid modifications (204 hp or approximately 152 kW) have been updated with a package of black accents: dark logos, mirrors, pillars, and a shark fin antenna. The technical part remains unchanged.
Prices for the 2026 Accord have risen, but slightly-on average by $100–150. The most affordable LX version now costs $29,590 (including shipping), while the top hybrid Touring will cost buyers $40,645.
