The appearance of the novelty has been changed in the spirit of the brand’s current corporate style. The crossover received a shield-shaped grille and a light strip that connects the headlights. Both versions will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (index 240TURBO) paired with a CVT. Power is 182 hp, torque is 240 Nm.

The car is built on a chassis with a fully independent suspension: MacPherson struts are installed in front, and a multi-link system is in the rear.

The new HR-V will receive the Honda SENSING safety system package and the intelligent device connectivity system Honda CONNECT 3.0. Updated features this year include improved collision avoidance technology and enhanced driver-assist capabilities, which facilitate a more intuitive experience. Prices for the updated versions have yet to be disclosed. For reference: the cost of the current Honda HR-V model in China ranges from 159,900 to 228,900 yuan ($24,482 to $35,045).
