Hisense Unveils Technicolor Future at CES 2026

Hisense is set to introduce its new RGB-X Mini LED TV, marking an advancement in RGB Mini LED technology. The TV will feature True Color backlighting, with the RGB-X system promising more precise color control and enhanced image quality, as teased in early previews. Recent developments in Mini LED technology showcase a trend toward richer color fidelity and deeper contrast ratios, positioning Hisense competitively against OLED alternatives.

Among the new offerings, the 116-inch monitor 116UXS was honored with the CES 2026 Innovation Award. This accolade highlights its color gamut, surpassing 100% BT.2020. Moreover, it boasts a peak brightness of 5000 nits and is equipped with a state-of-the-art 6.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos sound system. Such features bolster Hisense’s claim to superior cinematic experiences in home viewing setups. The award emphasizes a broader industry shift toward immersive multimedia environments, with sound and visual capabilities at the forefront.

The global launch for Hisense at CES 2026 takes place today, January 5, with the Chinese presentation scheduled for January 6. This timeline highlights the brand’s strategic positioning in aligning with technological showcases, catering to both Western and Eastern markets. Expert testimonials suggest that the True Color backlighting could have favorable reception due to perceived improvements in viewing quality.
