China’s Pickup Production in 2025
In China, the results of pickup production for the 12 months of 2025 have been published. The market leader by a significant margin is GWM, which produced 181,700 vehicles over the year. This is reflective of GWM’s substantial success not only domestically but also in international markets, where they have continued to expand aggressively.
Top Producers of 2025
Following GWM, JAC secured the second spot with 60,700 vehicles, while Changan took third place with 56,600 pickups. Close behind was SAIC Maxus with a result of 56,500 units. These companies are continuing to innovate, with recent models featuring enhanced fuel efficiency and integrated smart technologies to cater to modern consumer demands.
Further down the rankings, JMC produced 51,600 vehicles, with Zhengzhou Nissan reaching 49,700 units. These brands are also integrating advanced features in their models, such as improved off-road capabilities and driver-assist systems.

Remaining Top Ten Manufacturers
In the second half of the top 10 were BYD with a production volume of 39,500 pickups, BAIC Foton with 35,100, Isuzu with 21,700, and Geely Riddara (Radar), which closed the top ten with 17,300 vehicles.
