Google Unveils a New Transparent Android 17 Interface, Hinting at an Apple-like Path

It seems that Google has decided to follow Apple and make the interface of the Android operating system more transparent. Screenshots of Android 17 have leaked online, demonstrating this feature of the new version.

Of course, it’s far from the Liquid Glass design, so those who disliked Apple’s new vision shouldn’t worry too much. However, this is indeed the direction they’re heading towards.

It remains unclear if the transparency effect can be customized or disabled.

Whether the transparency effect can be customized or turned off remains uncertain, but so far, judging by the screenshots, there seems to be no particular need for it. At least, the transparency here is far from what it was initially in iOS with Liquid Glass.
