Gmktec’s Mini-PC Expansion: The G3 Pro and Its Competitors in 2026

The company Gmktec has expanded its range of affordable mini-PCs with the G3 Pro model. In today’s market, the device is quite inexpensive: in the top configuration with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, the device can be purchased for just $300. And the price of the basic version without memory is $130.

The Gmktec G3 Pro is based on a 14-nanometer Intel Core i3-10110U processor. This is a dual-core chip with four threads and adjustable power consumption ranging from 10 to 25 W. The graphics are integrated with Intel UHD Graphics. While it doesn’t support gaming, it does support 4K video playback. The Gmktec G3 Pro allows for the installation of two M.2 drives: the main M.2 2280 slot supports PCIe-SSD up to 8 TB, and the additional M.2 2242 slot is designed for drives up to 1 TB.

For cooling, there’s a copper heat pipe and a low-noise fan. The mini-PC measures 114 × 106 × 42.5 mm and weighs only 260 grams. The body is designed with a tool-free quick access system, simplifying maintenance and upgrades. An internal anti-vibration frame increases structural rigidity and overall reliability. In terms of interfaces, the G3 Pro offers four USB 3.2 ports, two HDMI outputs, and one RJ-45 Ethernet 2.5 Gbit/s adapter jack. There is also a built-in module for Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2.

Previously, the company introduced the equally interesting mini-PC NucBox K16, already based on the much more powerful Ryzen 7 7735HS. This gives consumers looking for performance a compelling alternative. Looking at the broader market for 2026, mini-PCs are increasingly integrating advanced processors while maintaining energy efficiency. The G3 Pro represents a budget-friendly option for users needing reliable video playback and everyday tasks without high-end gaming requirements.

Considering consumer feedback, many praise the G3 Pro’s easy customization and compact design. Experts note that its interface selection and connectivity options make it suitable for both personal and small business use. With the growing demand for versatile computing solutions, models like G3 Pro and NucBox K16 are setting notable benchmarks in the mini-PC segment.
