Geely Auto announced that the updated Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i 2026 model will officially debut on November 19. The primary improvements lie in the traction batteries, significantly augmenting its electric-only range: the base version can now travel 81 miles instead of the previous 34 miles, and a new version will feature a 124-mile electric-only range. Additionally, the electric motor’s power has been increased from 218 to 238 hp. However, the gasoline engine, a 1.5-liter unit, remains at the same 111 hp.
The new Starship 7 EM-i is equipped with an enhanced Qianli Haohan H3 driver assistance package featuring blue side mirror lights, automatic parking, and a highway autonomous driving system. The Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i 2026 retains the characteristic design and dimensions of the current generation at 4,740×1,905×1,685 mm with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, alongside a palette of six colors. Inside, it boasts a revamped Meizu Flyme Auto media system, a heads-up display, a sound system with 16 speakers, and features like seat ventilation, heating, and massage.
The current Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i lineup is available with ranges of 34 miles and 75 miles on pure electric, priced from $15,261 to $19,839. For comparison, the Geely EX5 EM-i in Russia starts from $46,782 with discounts.
