In an ambitious move aimed at capturing a global audience, Geely has introduced its latest technological flagship in Milan: the Galaxy M7 mid-size SUV, equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Targeted at the international market, this vehicle represents a significant step forward in automotive innovation.
The Galaxy M7 offers an impressive range of up to 1730 kilometers (1075 miles) in combined mode with a full tank and a fully charged traction battery. Notably, it can travel 225 kilometers (140 miles) purely on electric power.
The crossover is available in five distinctive colors: azure, green, silver, white, and black. Its front features a two-meter light strip composed of 362 LEDs, adorned with 500 laser-engraved details. The tail lights are seamlessly integrated into a single unit, enhancing its futuristic appeal.
The dimensions of the Galaxy M7 are 4770 x 1905 x 1685 mm, with a wheelbase of 2785 mm.
Interior-wise, the Galaxy M7 sets new standards with synthetic suede and natural wood accents, complemented by “crystal” control knobs. It boasts a large panoramic roof covering 1.2 square meters, a Flyme Sound audio system with 23 speakers, and ambient lighting with 256 colors.
The Galaxy M7 features a hybrid system powered by a 1.5-liter engine producing 111 horsepower. Depending on the configuration, it is equipped with traction batteries of either 18.4 kWh or 29.8 kWh.
The official commercial launch of the Geely Galaxy M7 in global markets is scheduled for the first half of 2026. This move is in line with Geely’s strategy to expand its footprint in the competitive SUV segment, aiming to attract environmentally conscious consumers seeking a blend of luxury and sustainability.
