The Geely Atlas is available with gasoline engines of 1.5 and 2.0 liters, offering consumers the choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive. The Monjaro, on the other hand, is certified solely with a 2-liter engine and an all-wheel-drive system. Certified vehicles are anticipated to reach dealerships in the coming months.

Previously, Geely Auto officially introduced the new Geely Atlas in China. The electric drive of the vehicle allows a range of up to 375 km (233 miles), and the total mileage reaches 1,525 km (948 miles) according to the CLTC cycle.

Strengthening the Kazakh Market Presence

Geely’s strategy in Kazakhstan aims to solidify its market presence with the Galaxy brand, leveraging local production. The move is a part of broader aspirations to capture a significant market share in Central Asia, building upon its successful models.

Experts note that Geely’s entry into the Kazakh market coincides with an increasing consumer interest in technologically advanced vehicles. This aligns with the company’s offerings, known for combining robust performance with innovative features.

Industry analysts suggest that Geely’s localization approach in Kazakhstan not only appeals to national pride but also signals an astute understanding of regional consumer preferences and market dynamics.

Furthermore, with the global rise in demand for efficient but affordable crossovers, Geely’s diverse lineup, including the Monjaro and Atlas, positions the company well within competitive landscapes.
