Geely Auto announced that the updated Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i 2026 model will officially debut on November 19. The main changes involve traction batteries, providing an increased electric-only range: the base version will now travel 130 km (81 miles) instead of the previous 55 km (34 miles), and a new version with a 200 km (124 miles) electric range will also be available. Additionally, the electric motor power has been increased from 218 to 238 horsepower. However, the gasoline-powered 1.5-liter engine remains at 111 horsepower.
The new Starship 7 EM-i is equipped with the expanded Qianli Haohan H3 driver assistance suite – featuring blue lights on the mirrors, automatic parking, and a highway autonomous driving system.
The Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i 2026 retains the brand’s signature design and the dimensions of the current generation – 4740×1905×1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2755 mm and a color palette of six shades. Inside, there is an updated Meizu Flyme Auto media system, a projection screen, a 16-speaker audio system, seat ventilation, heating, and massage functions.
The current line-up of the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i includes versions with a pure electric range of 55 km (34 miles) and 120 km (75 miles), with prices ranging from 100 to 130 thousand yuan ($14,000 to $18,000 USD). For comparison, in Russia, the Geely EX5 EM-i is priced from 3.32 million rubles ($54,000 USD) including discounts.
