Geely is gearing up for a substantial expansion of its Galaxy lineup in the Kazakhstani market. During a recent presentation, the distributor unveiled six models slated for launch in 2026. The lineup includes hybrid sedans and crossovers, a gasoline-powered SUV equipped with an off-road package, and an electric minivan. The brand debuted in China two years ago and quickly gained popularity by focusing on electrification.
Geely’s Galaxy in Kazakhstan does not limit itself to hybrid platforms. The gasoline-powered Cityray and the Preface sedan are already available, and an expanded lineup will soon join them. Among the anticipated new releases are the revamped Galaxy M9, the hybrid crossover L7, sedans A7 and A8, and the electric minivan L380. The sole gasoline model on the list is the Galaxy Icon, which will feature an off-road trim. The other models are geared towards hybrid drivetrains and enhanced multimedia capabilities. Earlier this year, Kazakhstan witnessed a significant launch of the Geely Galaxy sub-brand.
Interestingly, Geely’s strategy in Kazakhstan reflects its global ambitions to capitalize on the growing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles. By positioning itself at the forefront of this automotive shift, the company aims to fortify its market presence globally, leveraging its competitive edge in advanced hybrid systems and state-of-the-art multimedia technologies.
