Geely has confirmed plans to introduce the Galaxy Cruiser SUV to the UK market. This revelation was made to Autocar by Yan Tianxiao, Geely Auto UK’s marketing director. The model is positioned as a competitor to the Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
The Galaxy Cruiser is built on the SEA-R platform, also used in the Zeekr 9X. A modified version of this architecture is also employed in the hybrid Lotus Eletre PHEV, with its official presentation anticipated soon.
