Gamemax’s Bold Entry: Are Wider PC Cases the New Cool?

The company Gamemax has introduced a pair of dual-chamber cases: NEX C56 and NEX C56 VC. These are Mid-Tower format cases, only noticeably wider than usual. The main compartment is standard and allows for the installation of all main computer components. The second is located behind it (thus the case is wide). The additional space can be used for more convenient cable management, as well as the installation of drives and a power supply. Specifically, in this case, there is space for two 3.5-inch HDDs and two 2.5-inch drives at the back.

Inside, there is enough space for a graphics card up to 425 mm in length and a CPU cooler up to 182 mm in height. Furthermore, in the senior version, seven fans are pre-installed, with both main blocks of three fans installed at an angle for improved airflow.

It is also noteworthy to mention the support for vertical graphics card installation, a bracket for the graphics card, USB 3.2 Gen2 ports on the front panel, and magnetic dust filters. The models differ only in the number of pre-installed fans. As for the price, it ranges from $60 to $75 depending on the version.
