Galaxy S26 Ultra: The Colorful Breakthrough Hidden in a SIM Tray

Insider Ice Universe shared a new leak about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to him, the information about the colors of the upcoming flagship is hidden in the design of the SIM card tray. It is this element that confirmed as many as four color options for the device. If the leak is to be believed, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be available in black, white, blue, and purple. Official confirmation from Samsung is, of course, not yet available, but Ice Universe has long established itself as a reliable source of information about the company’s future smartphones.

It is reported that the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will be equipped with the Exynos 2600 single-chip system, manufactured using the 2 nm process. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to switch to the Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 with 3 nm standards. Production of components for the Galaxy S26 Plus began last month, and the final assembly of the S26 and S26 Plus starts this month. At the same time, the Galaxy S26 Ultra was launched into mass production earlier than the rest and is now reaching peak volumes.

Ice Universe was the first to accurately talk about the new trend towards smartphones with waterfall screens, the notch in the iPhone X, the new design of the iPhone 14, and the 200-megapixel image sensor in Samsung. Exclusive information about new products is leaked to him by sources in the research and development department of the South Korean giant.

Latest Developments and Insights

In recent reports, the Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 is expected to significantly enhance performance, especially in graphics and AI capabilities, while also providing better power efficiency, which could result in longer battery life for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. On the other hand, the new Exynos 2600 promises improvements in processing speed and supports advanced 5G capabilities. These advancements highlight Samsung’s commitment to leading the technology curve in smartphone hardware.

Launch Timeline and Market Speculations

The mass production of the Galaxy S26 series, particularly the S26 Ultra, aims to meet high consumer demand anticipated in early 2026. Industry analysts predict the device may be officially unveiled at a major technology event, possibly coinciding with Samsung’s traditional product launch timelines in the first quarter of the year.
