The joint venture GAC Honda reported successful sales of the new version of the legendary hatchback Fit: a limited edition of 3,000 units was completely sold out in just 20 days from the start of sales (January 15). As Autohome reports, the model’s popularity was ensured not only by an aggressive price of 66,800 yuan (approximately $10,500), but also by special service conditions: the manufacturer offered a lifetime warranty on the engine and transmission.

According to the report by the China Automobile Dealers Association, the Fit has topped the compact car residual value preservation ranking for the eighth consecutive year (2018–2025). After three years of operation, the car retains 58% of its original price. Statistics also indicate the model’s reliability: it is expected that by the end of 2025, more than 520,000 Fit cars older than 10 years will still be on the roads.
