Company Fossibot has introduced the survivalist smartphone – the Fossibot F113. This new model is equipped with a powerful flashlight, loudspeaker, and night vision camera.
The device is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 single-chip system, includes 12 GB RAM and 256 GB flash memory, and supports microSD cards up to 2 TB. The smartphone operates on Android 15. The screen is an IPS with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. A multicolor LED notification indicator is located on the rear panel, and the loudspeaker (110 dB) provides high audibility in noisy environments.
The device is protected according to IP68 and IP69K degrees and meets the MIL-STD-810H standard requirements. A strap for carrying is provided on the case, allowing the smartphone to be held like a flashlight: a 160 lm flashlight is located on the top end. The battery capacity is 20,000 mAh. Recently, industry reviews have praised its robust build and extensive battery life despite its weight, making it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts. The phone’s unique selling point remains its large battery and rugged capabilities, which set it apart from competitors focused solely on aesthetics.
The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP, while the main camera utilizes sensors with resolutions of 50 and 5 MP. Its standout feature is a 64-megapixel infrared night vision camera capable of capturing people and animals in complete darkness up to 50 meters away.
The Fossibot F113 is already available for pre-order in the company’s European store at a recommended price of 300 euros ($342). Demand has been increasing amongst tech enthusiasts looking for a durable and feature-rich phone, reflecting a shift in user priorities towards more rugged and versatile devices in the face of outdoor and survival scenarios.
