Erying Unveils Sleek, Cost-Effective MoDT Platforms with Intel Upgrades

Company Erying has announced the release of a new generation of MoDT platforms equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200H processors (Arrow Lake-H). The lineup includes four models: Ultra 5 225H with 14 cores, Ultra 5 235H with 14 cores, Ultra 7 255H with 16 cores, and Ultra 9 285H with 16 cores.

The dimensions are 175 × 215 mm, and the power supply subsystem is designed with a 6+1+1 phase scheme (exactly like in previous models with integrated Ultra 100H). The system board features one PCIe 4.0 ×8 slot and one PCIe 4.0 ×4 slot, two M.2 PCIe 4.0 ×4 connectors, two SATA III ports, and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet network interface.

A key difference in the new generation of MoDT systems is the reduced cooling radiator and the absence of a pre-installed wireless module, simplifying the design and reducing costs. Erying has already published the prices for the new products: Ultra 5 225H at $255, Ultra 5 235H at $270, Ultra 7 255H at $310, and Ultra 9 285H at $380.

The use of Intel Core Ultra 200H processors offers significant improvements in performance and efficiency, with enhanced AI capabilities and support for the latest DDR5 memory technology, positioning these platforms as ideal for high-demand applications. This aligns with the rapidly growing trend of integrating AI in consumer and enterprise technology solutions. The absence of a wireless module might seem like a step back but provides potential savings that could appeal to budget-conscious buyers who may already have preferred wireless solutions. As the tech industry leans towards more modular and customizable solutions, Erying’s offering aligns well with contemporary consumer expectations.
