Elon Musk Promises New Heights: Starship’s Evolution Continues Unabated

Elon Musk has announced that the fourth generation of the Starship will be about 10–20% longer than the current version. The Starship V1 stood at a height of about 120 meters, featured 33 Raptor engines, had a liftoff thrust of 7,590 tons, and a payload capacity of 200 tons. Notably, the total length of the Starship V3 is supposed to be 124.4 meters. If we take the upper limit, this means the height of the assembled fourth-generation rocket could be around 150 meters. Larger tanks and a redesigned structure will allow more fuel and payload to be accommodated.

The Grok Starship V4 will be a logical evolution of the third generation, aimed at serial orbital launches and reuse. The first launch of Starship V3 is expected this quarter. SpaceX plans to use the rocket to deliver large payloads into orbit, to the Moon, and in the future, Mars.
